Madonna's Daughter Wants to be a Star

Lourdes Leon is following in her famous mother's footsteps. Madonna's 12-year-old daughter — who we already told you has big dreams of being a star — has enrolled in Manhattan's Professional Children's School now her mom got divorced and moved the family to the Big Apple.

Her curriculum will include drama, fine arts and music at least twice a week. Lourdes, whose father is Madge's ex Carlos Leon, will be following in the famous footsteps of celebs including Sarah Jessica Parker, Scarlett Johansson and new dad Jerry O'Connell, who are all alumni of Professional Children's School.

A source recently told Star that Lourdes wants to start acting professionally when she turns 14 in 2010.

Here's hoping she's better than her mom, who — despite amazing success in the music world — has received scorching reviews for her acting parts in Swept Away, The Next Best Thing and Body of Evidence.
